This is a film that I did not know existed until I was writing a review for The Deadly Spawn some time back.  When I was looking at imdb.com I seen one of the actors in the film was in a flick called Dr. Alien.  I looked on amazon.com and seen it was farely cheap but didn't order it.  Later that week I was in FYE and found a used copy for $2.99 and jumped on it.  I did not know much about the film except it was definitely not a horror flick.  I'm fine with that because it has cheesy 80's flick written all over it.
The film opens as a older man is driving home and is chased by a ball of light.  In a panicked state he wrecks his car.  It is later revealed that he is a college professor.  We are then introduced to young Wesley.  Wesley describes himself as "dull and boring" and that pretty much hits the nail on the head.  Wesley is a freshman in college and lives at home with his parents and little brother.  Wesley follows in his father's footsteps and is fond of classical music.  Wesley also has a crush on a girl at the college but does not have the guts to talk to her.  The day after the old man wrecks his car Wesley heads off to class.  It just so happens to be his college professor that was in the wreck.  He now has a hot substitute professor and she asks him to assist her in the lab after class.  After class he visits the lab where he meets the hot professor and her assistant.  They trick him into taking  a shot of green goo in the ass.  Moments later a penis like object pops out of the top of his head.  It omits radio waves that instantly turn girls on.  The next day when he wakes up he has a new sense of style and a different taste in music.  As he is driving to work he spots his crush walking.  He now has the balls to speak to her and asks her if she wants a ride.  She accepts and the two head off to class.  While he is stopped at a red light, a douche he had an altercation the previous day, urges him to race.  He races him and his crush becomes scared and runs away from him.  He races to class before her and is playing piano when she walks in.  He asks her out and she agrees.  Later that evening they go out and the head penis pops out which makes her horny.  She throws her self on him forcing him to hit his head on the window and the head penis retracts.  She immediately becomes turned off and assumes he took advantage of her and she leaves.  Right after she left three attractive ladies approach Wesley and want his body.  His crush then approaches him and spots him with the ladies and is disgusted.  Wesley's new taste in music allows him the opportunity to sing in a rock band called Sex Mutants.  One night after a show the hot professor tells Wesley she is an alien and removes her human mask to reveal her true alien form.  She also reveals everything about the experiment and how she needs him and the serum or her world die.  After his band mates find out about the serum and what it does they all fight over it and drop it.  The alien is now upset that her world will now die but her assistant sprouts a head penis because he has been taking the serum so she will screw him making for a happy ending (wink).
I really liked this movie.  It was everything I thought it would be just from looking at the DVD artwork.  I am really surprised that this film is not more known.  The acting is a toss up.  Some of the characters are portrayed very well by the cast while other members are not on the same level.  The acting should be the same level across the board.  The effects are the typical cheesy 80's sci-fi lasers, however, the alien looks awesome.  I really like the way it looks because I am a sucker for practical effects.  This movie is nothing special but it is very entertaining.  I highly recommend giving this one a watch because you will not be let down.
