Horror and nudity go hand in hand like weed and Cheetohs...and nachos. Nudity has been a staple of horror movies since the sexual revolution of the 60s.  However, you can only go so far with nudity before it gets repetitive and redundant.  Don't get me wrong, I love me a good tit in a horror flick but some people get tired of just seeing a boob flash here and there in there gore flicks.  That is when certain filmmakers have to take it up a notch and turn a horror movie into a flick whose storyline is more angled towards sex than horror.  Most of these films are horror parodies but some are genuine films that focus more on sex as the plot instead of just flashing body parts.  That brings me to my next review.  Several months back I reached out to fellow reviewer MrParka and asked him for some hidden indie gems to watch and review.  He sent me a rather lengthy list and among the list was a film called Goregasm.  I don't know about you but I thought that title was fucking amazing so I had to see it.  I looked around and was able to find the Facebook page for the film.  I reached out to them and after several weeks they were nice enough to send me a screener.  Thank you for taking the time to send me that!
The film follows an adult video store clerk who has been trying to fuck his rather busty girlfriend only to fall short. However, one night he finally gets what he sets out for only to be cockblocked by a masked killer known only as the Cockface Killer.  The CFK strikes whenever there is sexual perversion and kills in taboo ways.  The young couple fight for their life as the CFK attacks them with a giant dildo.  The video store clerk is able to bash a beer bottle over his head and the two flee out the window.  The Cockface Killer is not the only thing the young couple has to watch out for in this sexually active town.  There is a deranged detective who refuses to acknowledge the existence of CFK and believes that the real killer is someone killing according to the 13 fetishes.  There is also an all female gang known as C.L.A.M. with a bearded leader wielding a razor sharp strap-on.
Most of these "extreme" films use large scale sex scenes intended to shock and disgust the viewer.  These films typically cover a hottie in blood and guts as a ploy to pull in the genre fans only to betray them with a shitty film containing vile and disgusting sex scenes.  Most of these films fail to string together a coherent story resulting in pure shit on film.  However, sometimes a director is able to make a real horror flick that is just as much sexual perversion as it is blood and entertainment.  Goregasm is definitely part of the latter.  From the second I saw the title screen I knew I would enjoy this film and I did.  The film is the perfect combination of blood, sex, and comedy resulting in a one wild and entertaining flick.  The acting on this one is actually pretty bad but it does not take away from the film because the film does not rely on character interaction as much as it does the situations the characters find themselves in.  The situations, though comical, would have been a lot more effective if the cast did not feel awkward on camera.  The story is completely bat shit, off the wall crazy and I fucking loved every minute of it.  The film is just one on-screen penetration away from being a legitimate porn but is able to walk the line and make a pretty graphic slasher.  Finally, those looking for amazing on screen deaths with great special effects will not find them here.  Instead, you will find completely absurd on-screen deaths with minimal special effects.  This kills are effective when compared to the rest of the film.  Overall, this film is a vile stain on cinematic history that should be watched by all genre fans.  I highly recommend this piece of trash!
