     My bad movie slump continues as I continue to work on the Lucifer Valentine Vomit Gore series.  Most of you know this by now but I feel the need to clarify how much I dislike extreme horror movies that offer up shock with no story.  Extreme does have it's place in the horror world but we need story.  When I turn on a flick and it immediately gets to torture and rape with no explanation as to why usually results in the film getting a negative review.  That is the Vomit Gore series.  It has no linear story and consists mostly of vomit, murder, and masturbation.  Today, we move on to the third installment of the film, Slow Torture Puke Chamber. 
     The film, once again, follows a tortured bulimic prostitute (Lavey in flashbacks, Likens in new scenes) who spirals out of control while sporadically talking about Satan, murder, and vomiting.

    




     The Vomit Gores series feels like it was made by someone wanting to live out a fetish fantasy while filming it for other to share in on it.  They all fail as a horror movie but if you have deep, dark fantasies then they may be entertaining.  For me, they are not.  The acting in this one is actually a step up from the first.  The film offers up a few scenes that flow like an actual movie and not an amateur porn.  The scenes are short but they do show that Hope Likens could be in other indie horror flicks if she dedicates herself to them.  The story for this one is more of the same but we do get more gore scenes over the vomiting scenes which was a plus.  The film could be enjoyable if we had something to tie them all together instead of just scenes of vomit broken up with scenes of death.  Finally, this one has some amazing fucking kills.  It could easily be one of the most brutal horror films I have ever seen if you only knew what the fuck is going on.  The effects are great and the kills are fabulous.  The only downside is they share screen time with an incoherent story.  Overall, Slow Torture Puke Chamber is an improvement over the first two film.  The story is not there but the kills and effects are fantastic.  The film was a step forward from the others but a turd is still a turd.
