This is it.  The day I have been waiting for almost a week now.  Just a day or so shy of a week ago I started watching and reviewing the Vomit Gore series from Lucifer Valentine.  I ended up with all four of the feature length films over the years but had no interest in watching them.  That changed when Black Lava sent over the Lucifer Valentine short A Perfect Child of Satan which is a supplemental short to the series but not actually a part of it.  After receiving the short I decided it was time to watch the entire series before I gave the short a chance.  Though it is not part of the horror I enjoy I am still thankful that Black Lava hooked me up.  Thanks guys!
The film follows The severe torture and dismemberment of several women at the hands of a young woman.  We learn that the woman is Angela and we are witnessing her own hell where she tortures and kills others.

The Vomit Gore series has been interesting that is for sure.  What impresses me the most isn't the films themselves but the fans.  People are obsessed with these films.  To the point that several have the film's characters and artwork tattooed on them.  Now, I have horror icons tattooed on my flesh but I would never in a million years get something this disgusting tattooed on my body.  These films are the farthest thing from entertaining.  The acting in this one is just like the first two films.  We get someone cutting and dismembering others with no form of acting to be seen.  It's more than one person, the one behind the camera, acting out a sexual fantasy like the first two films but it's still not like an actual horror movie which makes it rough to watch.  You can't blame the cast for the way the film is set up but it makes one wonder why anyone would agree to it.  The story for this one is a little more than what we got in Slaughtered Vomit Dolls and ReGOREgitated Sacrifice but it is tossed together in such a way that the viewer has no idea what is going on.  The film is random scenes that do not feel connected in any way and the only way I was able to dictate any sort of story was from the imdb page while getting the cast info.  Finally, the film returns to it's gory roots and delivers on the kills and gore.  It looks great but doesn't fit any sort of story line.  The effects are top notch like always but go unchecked by the film's lack of a story to tie the gore to.  Overall, Vomit Gore 4 is another miss.  The film has some of the greatest gore I have seen in indie cinema but the lack of a story and traditional cast makes it almost impossible to watch.  Skip it.
